Only yesterday, the media was awash with the report of over 705, 000 people applying for 10, 000 jobs advertised by the police. It is bad enough that we are dealing with a teething unemployment problem, but to also have a bigger challenge called...
unemployability is another matter altogether. It is critical however, to grasp the fact that the problem of unemployment is not tied to the lack of jobs alone. Notice here, that the few available jobs there are out there are still a long shot for most prospective employees, simply because the average is said to be unemployable – he lacks the requisite skills for the job he is most likely gunning.

That antidote to that disease is called employability skills. A part of it is carrier development intelligence. At In order to bridge the critical skills gap unemployability creates, at Prescofrances Resources, we have been providing series of free basic employability skills training in order to help equip prospective employees with the requisite skills for a thriving career pursuit.

We have realized however, that that is not enough, as we have also taken the initiative to take the message of employability skills down to secondary schools, so we can correct a lot of causative factors to unemployability, arm the students with principles for strong career development foundations and better prepare these young stars for a successful career pursuit. Hence our EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN (ESAC) program.
